2017, Marketing & Communication Coordinator – Amsterdam

TheTalentSource is a headhunters office, based in Amsterdam, with the mission to connect A-list Online, Marketing & Communication talents with big brands all over the Netherlands. As the Marketing & Communication coordinator I was responsible for all marketing & communication activities. I created a strategic plan for the communication and worked with a web developer to create the website (www.thetalentsource.nl). To ensure both clients and talents can find all the information they need.

Fonds Gehandicaptensport

2016, Temporary project employee– Marketing & Communication department, Amsterdam

After my internship in 2015, I returned at Fonds Gehandicaptensport for a temporary position as project coordinator. The biggest focus was setting up a new strategic plan for the online communication. Another responsibility was working on a plan for the foundation ambassadors. By creating a content calendar and new communication items the foundation is now able to communicate more efficient and balanced.

De FUMO

2016, Communication Management – University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam

For my final BBA thesis I wrote an advisory report for an organization called ‘de FUMO’.’De FUMO’ is the back office of several government institutions in the region Friesland, the Netherlands. They are responsible for the health and safety of the living environment in the province Friesland. At the time, ‘de FUMO’ experienced a lack of support and trust from the Frisian citizens due to several adverse events. With my communication report the FUMO had to regain their relation with this important stakeholder group. So that in the end they could improve there corporate image.

Fonds Gehandicaptensport

2015, Communication Management – University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam

During my internship I worked for a foundation that facilitates sports for disabled people, Fonds Gehandicaptensport. I worked on a specific fundraising event called the Giathlon. A big indoor triathlon to raise money for the foundation. I was responsible for all the online communication before, during and after the event. With two main objectives: recruiting participants and raising money. In addition to the event I developed a report to advise Fonds Gehandicaptensport on how to communicate a new fundraising strategy with all the foundations investors.

Minor Experience & Event Management

2015, Communication Management – University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam

During the minor Experience & Event Management I was part of a fictive communication advisory agency named BINDT. We were involved with two projects. The first one for the real estate agency Funda. Their annual employee event needed to be renewed, so BINDT had to create an innovative and inspiring event concept.  Secondly BINDT had to write a brand concept for the multifunctional event location RAI Amsterdam. The RAI was planning on operating on a new market and needed a strategic plan to get started.

The International Holland Music Sessions

2014, Communication Management – University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam

The International Holland Music Sessions is a foundation for young and talented musicians, to help kick-start their careers. The foundation was in need of more financial help to continue their work. In this project the communication was used to attract a new group of people to invest in the foundation. Through research, knowledge was gained on the target group: including the way they communicate and ways to encourage the target group to support the foundation. At the end of the project the advice consisted of focussing on increasing the brand awareness of The International Holland Music Sessions. The communication had to be more efficient with more emotion and guided by a famous spokesperson.

The municipality Amsterdam

2014, Communication Management – University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam

The municipality of Amsterdam has to deal with a lot of parked bicycles. Which often creates messy and possibly dangerous situations. That’s why the goal of the project was: “To improve the bicycle parking behaviour in the city centre,  to improve the overall image of Amsterdam image and reduce costs related to parking issues”. The communication plan proposed the use of posters, floor stickers and normal stickers to achieve the intended change in behaviour.
